Madonna’s Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2009-2010 ad campaign images have finally been officially released. We’ve been going out of our minds waiting to get our hands on them. Creative director Marc Jacobs once again chose Madonna as the face of the french label — the Material Girl showed off her flexibility in LV’s spring/summer campaign, which had a hard, sexually-charged vibe. This time around, though, the series of images, has a lush, even romantic feel. Jacobs went with an old Hollywood direction for the campaign, with a May Ray influence. MJ and Madonna reunited with photographer Steven Meisel, who shot the previous campaign. “After the fun we had with the spring/summer campaign, and the amazing reaction to it, all of us – Madonna, Steven and myself – were eager to get back together for fall/winter,” Jacobs explains.
I’m not a huge Madonna fan; however I do respect her talent! She stays ahead of the curve on trends and I think LV made a wise choice. People will take notice simply because Madonna is a fashion icon no matter you love her or hate her!
