Just One More Try

A coulp of sisters who came from rural area to work in the city were hired as saleswomen by a gift company, which they had passed through several troubles.

They had no fixed clients and no relations neither. Everyday, they just carried watches, photo albums, cups, lamps and all kinds of heavy samples, walking along large streets and small lanes in the city to find customers. More than five months past, although they had ran broke the leg, rubbed through the mouth, they were still rebuffed, not selling even a key ring.

Heaps of disappointment worn off the younger sisiter’s final patient. She put forward to quiting together and looking for a new way out. The elder sister said that everything was difficult at the very beginning, just stick to do it and maybe there would be some results the next time. The younger sister left the company firmly regardless of her elder sister’s advice.

The next day, the two sisters went out together. The younger sister hunted for jobs everywhere according to ads while the elder sister still sought for buyers around with the samples. That night, the two sisters came  back to the rent house with two different moods: the younger sister applied for jobs abortively while her sister took back her first order form in her sell career. One company which the elder sister paid four visits to was to hold a large scale confernece, they ordered 250 delegates souvenirs, a total of over $200,000. Therefoe the elder sister earned $20,000 in commission, which was her first bucket of gold.  Since then the elder sister’s outstanding achievement rose and her order forms came one after another.

Six years passed, the elder sister had not only a car but also a over-100-squaremeters house as well as her own gift company. However, the younger sister worked like changing regimes, even eating and dressing would depend on her sister.

The younger sister consulted the key to success to her sister, and then she said,”Actually, the total secret of my success is that I had just one more try than you.”
