Miuccia Prada does not refuse to talk about models’ falling to the ground during her series of 09 spring and summer show in Milan - more than 5 cm water units, narrow mouth of the fish head, tightly ankle bandage, more than 12 cm heel, resulted in two models’ successively falling. She was not worried: “I like it, so make the show more interesting.”
Although the Italian designer’s attitude on this matter is easy, but some models says they feel a terrible fright to wear such high-heeled shoes. A model who falled revealed in an interview: “I was so scared that My hands were shaking. Heel was too high. some girl even cried behind the curtain, they were so afraid.”
At the same time, Miuccia said he most important thing to make the perfect clothes is people who wear them feel good, so when she had to attend important occasions she didn’t decide what to wear until the last minute .She could not stand making herself to wear clothes in which she feel uncomfortable ,such psychological suggestion have something to do both with occasions and time .The same clothes at some point, at some occasion can make people feel happy and confident while in other occasions, other moment it lost its original magic. Of course, I choose to believe Miuccia’s relaxed attitude to models’ falling e, but if wearing Prada high-heeled shoes and constant fear of whether it will fall or not , likely in her words, “make people feel very happy confident” mood may not be exsited.
For the remarks, as a female designer, Miuccia Prada seems to be the best model to understand reluctance to wear super-high heels walking in pain.
