Show yourself bravely

U.S. steel magnate Carnegie was very poor when he was young. One day, he passed by a construction site on his way back home from school. He saw a well dressed man conducting there.

“ What are you building?” Carnegie went to ask the man who was like a boss.

“ We are building a skycrape foy my general merchandise company and some other companies.” Said the man.

“ You are so outstanding! How can I be like you when I grow up?” Carnegie asked with envy.

“ First, you should word hard…”

“ I have known that for a long time, people all say like this. What’s the second?”

“ To wear a red shirt!”

Aftering hearing this, clever Carnegie was confused, “Is this has anything to do with success?”

“ Yes, it has.” The man pointed at a worker over there and said, “ You see, they are all my employers, but because they are in the same blue shirts, I don’t know anyone of them…”

Then he pointed another work in red shirt saying, “ But you see the guy in red shirt, I’m paying attention to him all the time, although he is as skilful as others, I pay attention to him specially. Therefore I will let him be my assistant several days later.”

It’s a story which is a little absurd, at least I don’t think that boss can hire people so subjectively. But it tells us that we should show ourselves bravely. Achieveing others’ appreciation is not only because of your talent sometimes, what’s more is that how you sell yourself and how you show yourself.
